Getting Started with Trail Pro Intel

Trail Pro Intel is built for whitetail hunters who pattern their property year-round — not casual app users. The fastest path to value is to get your data into the app: trail-camera photos, sit logs, gear, and your two or three favorite locations. Once that's there, the AI analysis, hunt forecast, and Solunar overlays start working with information that's actually about your hunt — not someone else's.

01Step 1 — Install and sign in

Trail Pro Intel runs on iOS and the web, with a native Android app on the way. The mobile apps are the primary experience; the web app is best for desktop scouting work (map drawing, bulk image review). Sign in with Apple, Google, or email — your account syncs across every device the moment you sign in.

The first time you launch the app, you'll see the onboarding flow. Pick your primary species (most users pick whitetail), allow location access so weather/forecast pulls work. The free plan is the full app, so you can start without a card — upgrade to Pro later for longer forecasts and more AI credits.

02Step 2 — Save your first hunting location

Open the Locations tab and drop a pin on your primary stand or property. A location is just a name plus coordinates — the value is that every Field Note, gear use, and weather pull can be tagged to it so you can filter by spot later. Add 2–3 locations before you do anything else; it makes everything downstream more useful.

03Step 3 — Log your first sit

Hunted last weekend? Open Field Notes and tap +. Set the location, time window, wind direction, and what you observed. You don't need to fill every field — even a 30-second note with "saw 2 does, both downwind, never came in" pays back the next time you're deciding when to hunt that spot. Field Notes are the data the rest of the app learns from.

04Step 4 — Upload trail-camera images

In Gallery, tap Upload and pull in a batch from your card reader (or shoot directly with your phone camera). Trail Pro Intel auto-analyzes images and tags species, count, and confidence. You can review and correct tags in seconds — the app gets more accurate as it sees more of your cameras.
