Map & Weather

3D terrain scouting, wind and scent-cone overlays, hourly weather, the 0–100 hunt forecast, and exactly what works with no cell signal.

Deer move on terrain and weather. Trail Pro Intel puts both on one screen so you can read a property from your couch and know what the day's conditions will do to movement before you ever climb in.

013D terrain scouting

Open the Map and switch to 3D. The topo is Mapbox-powered, with real elevation you can tilt and spin — so saddles, benches, pinch points, funnels, and bedding terrain actually look like what they are. Drop pins on stands and access routes, and measure distances so you know your entry won't blow deer out of the bedding on the walk in.

02Wind and scent cones

Turn on the wind overlay to see live wind direction laid over your map, then drop a scent cone on any stand to see exactly where your scent drifts. That's the difference between a setup that works all season and one that educates every mature buck in the area. Check it before you pick which stand to hunt — not after.

03Weather and the hunt forecast

The weather view gives you hourly conditions plus the stuff that actually moves game: barometric pressure, temperature swings, and wind. The hunt forecast rolls it all into a single 0–100 daily score — scored for the species you're hunting. Tap the species pill on the Overview or the Weather screen to switch between whitetail, turkey, elk, waterfowl, bear, coyote, and hog; each species uses its own science-backed weighting, and your choice is remembered on your device. Free covers a 3-day outlook; Pro extends it to 7 or 10 days — set the range once and the Overview and Weather screens stay in sync, so you can plan a rut trip around the conditions.

04Working with no cell signal

Cell service dies right where the hunting gets good. Your stands, field notes, gear, and tagged trail-cam photos are stored on the phone — they work with zero bars and sync the moment service comes back. Log a rub line at the bottom of a creek with no signal and it will be waiting on your dashboard that night.

The map is honest about its limit. Tiles are cached as you look at them, so country you scouted at home draws again in the timber — but ground you have never opened will not render without service. Pan over the country you plan to hunt while you still have bars. There is no download-a-region button: map licensing does not allow bulk tile downloads, and we are not going to promise a button we cannot ship.

  • Solunar Calendar — pair conditions with peak movement windows.
  • AI & Trail Cameras — see which setups are actually producing.
  • Field Notes & Gear — log what the wind and weather did to a sit.
